As a way of giving back to the city of Belleville, Reid’s Dairy has donated $32,118 to wrap up their Grand Re-Opening fundraiser. The donation will be used for the Belleville General Hospital Bed Replacement Program. Reid would like to challenge our Belleville industry peers to get on board with this much needed cause. Good hospital beds are critical for effective healthcare. It affects all of us!
We have tripled our square footage and expanded everything. More ice cream, things to see and do and most important – more fun! We welcomed all those loyal customers, friends and family with so many memorable activities.
Stephen Quickert, the President and Owner of Reid’s Dairy stated, “The hospital here in Belleville and all of our hospitals in this entire area, play a huge role in everybody’s lives. There’s not a person that does not have a story and I mean a great story of the people especially at the hospital. Us as corporate citizens here in Belleville, to do our part, need to cover the cost of this equipment.”
Steve Cook, the Executive Director of the Belleville General Hospital Foundation, says the foundation is supporting Quinte Health Belleville General Hospital through a wide-spread bed replacement program.
“These beds range from $100,000 down to $16,000. They really play a role in every department throughout the hospital, whether that’s the maternal child program through to intensive care. “
Cook was also quick to thank the Quickert family and the Reid’s Dairy team for their support. They’ve always been amazing support of Quinte Health and the BGH Foundation.
“Whether that’s oncology or advanced diagnostics or on this occasion, a bed replacement program, we love working with the community and community partners like these are essential to the foundation.”
Reid’s Dairy, now celebrating 114 years in Belleville, wants all those here and in surrounding communities, to know how much their customers mean to them. “So, raise your milkshake and let’s recognize and toast our hospital. Especially all the hardworking nurses, doctors and staff that take care of us when we need them the most.”
