There’s a reason the phrase ‘seeing is believing’ holds so much truth. Being able to experience something firsthand and take it in for yourself is powerful.
That’s why, one of our goals this year is to share more opportunities for donors to do just that – to see the change you’re helping create here at Belleville General Hospital.
First up in 2023, BGHF Board Chair, Dr. Tracy Bray welcomed a group of donors to the Dr. Douglas A. MacIntosh Cancer Clinic for an exclusive tour.
We always knew our donors were committed — but the fact many braved a snow storm to make it out, truly proved it!
We were thrilled to have Caitlin Gagnon, Manager, Oncology, and Natalie Hart, Oncology Patient Care Lead, share incredible insights and stories about the history and current priorities of this world-class cancer care clinic that we’re fortunate to have right here in Belleville.
Donors also heard about exciting plans to continue improving cancer care for our community.
BGHF is incredibly grateful to the Oncology team for their support with this event, and to our donors for all they do to make exceptional care, close to home, a reality.
Stay tuned for more opportunities throughout 2023 and if you have ideas for the types of event or opportunities you’d like to take part in, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Erin Hewitson, Major Gifts Officer on 613 969 7400 ext. 2103; ehewitson@qhc.on.ca
