Car4Cancer early bird draw held as ticket sales soar!

Today, Cole Allinger, General Manager at Peter Smith GM joined BGHF Executive Director Steve Cook to draw the winning ticket for the first of four Early Bird draws in the Belleville General Hospital Foundation’s Car4Cancer lottery. Harry Kranenburg from Quinte West, with Ticket # 3809 won $1000. But the winning doesn’t end there for Harry: the ticket is returned to the drum and is eligible for the next three Early Bird draws as well as the grand prize of the 2023 Chevy Camaro Coupe.

With three super draws taking place this year, the goal is to raise $500,000 towards at the BGH Dr. Douglas A. MacIntosh Cancer Clinic. Executive Director Steve Cook says: “With the help of our partners at Peter Smith GM, we’ve had an incredible response so far this year for our Car4Cancer lotto, selling almost 4600 tickets as of the May 25 Early Bird deadline.”

Cole Allinger thanked everyone involved so far: “The Chevy Camaro has people excited. And we are excited to be raising money for our local Cancer Clinic at BGH.”
