The third and final Cruise4Cancer Early Bird Winner has been drawn!

Ann Lowry-Carmichael is the lucky $2000 winner in Cruise4Cancer Third Early Bird Draw

There are new options for the summer for the most recent winner in the Cruise4Cancer lottery. After hearing the wonderful news Ann was already starting to imagine what to do with the $2000 prize in the third Early Bird Draw. “I have been buying tickets to support the hospital since moving to the region. This is awesome news, thank you,” said Ann Lowry Carmichael of Napanee ON. Ticket 3061 was Ann’s lucky number.

The Sea-Doo Switch Cruiser pontoon boat and trailer grand prize draw is just days away, the final deadline arriving at 11:59pm on Monday June 24. “There are only 4 days to go in this super draw but it isn’t too late to get behind this vital initiative. Together we can give cancer patients across the region hope and the opportunity for a more favourable prognosis.” explained BGHF Executive Director Steven Cook. With one in two Canadians diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, Belleville General Hospital acts as a regional oncology center, providing lifesaving treatment across the entire Quinte Health Catchment. Funds raised through the BGHF Super Lottos will go directly to equipment purchases for cancer care at Quinte Health Belleville General Hospital.

Over $90,000 has been raised so far in the lottery. On hand for the draw Wes Bristow, owner of Bay Marine explained how exciting the Sea-Doo Switch Cruiser is: “Anyone can successfully steer and dock this sporty Sea-Doo Switch. We encourage everyone to get their tickets now to support our regional hospital and our community.”
