Second Cruise4Cancer Early Bird Draw held this morning

Brian Kelly is the lucky $2000 winner in Cruise4Cancer Second Early Bird Draw!

The pleasure was evident in Brian Kelly’s voice when he heard he was the winner today in the Second Early Bird Draw in the Cruise4Cancer lottery. After hearing the wonderful news Brian explained he purchases tickets in the Belleville General Hospital Foundation lotteries as an almost selfish way to donate: knowing he might win a prize is a bonus outcome to supporting his local hospital. “What great news for a Friday! You made my weekend” declared Brian.

Excitement continues to build for the Sea-Doo Switch Cruiser pontoon boat and trailer as the grand prize draw approaches. “With only three weeks left to go in this super draw let’s all get behind this vital initiative. Together we can give cancer patients across the region hope and the opportunity for a more favourable prognosis.” explained BGHF Executive Director Steven Cook. With one in two Canadians diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, Belleville General Hospital acts as a regional oncology center, providing lifesaving treatment across the entire Quinte Health Catchment. Funds raised through the BGHF Super Lottos will go directly to equipment purchases for cancer care at Quinte Health Belleville General Hospital.

As of the second Early Bird cut-off sales reached 50% sold, already generating over $82,000. The third and final early bird on the Cruise4Cancer lottery will take place on Friday June 21, get your tickets now to be eligible for the bonus cash prize of $2000 and also get your chance to win in the Grand Prize Draw. Every ticket sold makes a difference for cancer patients in our region.
