Record breaking $175,000 raised from the BGH Foundation 2023 I’M IN Staff Campaign

Belleville General Hospital Staff say “I’M IN” for Better Local Health Care

In an overwhelming show of love and commitment to their hospital, staff at Quinte Health, Belleville General Hospital, have delivered the largest ever I’M IN Staff Giving Campaign, raising $175,000 for Belleville General Hospital Foundation.

This brings the total amount raised by the campaign to a staggering $1 Million over the past 10 years.

The annual campaign aims to inspire a culture of giving within hospital staff, encouraging them to contribute to the Foundation’s mission of keeping exceptional care, close to home.

“Belleville General Hospital is so much more than just a healthcare facility; it’s a community dedicated to the well-being of our patients. The success of the I’M IN Staff Giving Campaign reflects the deep sense of commitment and compassion our employees have towards our mission,” said Steve Cook, Executive Director, Belleville General Hospital Foundation.

Results were bolstered by sponsorship from local companies including Team Champion – Maple Dale Cheese; Team Player – Cintas, and Team Supports – Family Dental Centre, Quinte Ortho and Qxplore. New this year, sponsors had the chance to showcase their brands and services direct to staff at the I’M IN Pizza Party event that launched the campaign.

Gifts in kind were also provided by: McKesson, McDowell’s Your Independent Grocer, Joe’s No Frills, Campbell’s Orchards, Hawkins Cheezies and McDonald’s.

Funds raised will support critical equipment needs at BGH. Each participating staff can direct their gift to the area of greatest need, or their own department.

“We are immensely grateful for the generosity displayed by our hospital staff. The I’M IN Staff Giving Campaign not only serves as a testament to their dedication but also reinforces the sense of community within Belleville General Hospital. The Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to every employee who participated and demonstrated the powerful impact of collective support.” added Jennifer McTavish, Community Events Officer.
