Cash4Cancer Early Bird #3 Winner Announced!

Belleville General Hospital Foundation is driving home the energy for this holiday season with another local winner in the Cash4Cancer lottery with the Early Bird #3 Draw.

BettyLou W. of Shannonville, Ontario, has her family’s holiday driving covered after winning Fuel for a Year ($2500 value). Winning with ticket # 99001143004 she was so excited, saying ‘Wow, this is great. We know the hospital needs the support, and this is a great way to donate, and hopefully win!”

The Cash4Cancer Lotto is BGHF’s biggest lottery to date, offering a $100,000 cash grand prize, and four early bird prizes. Proceeds support cancer care at Quinte Health, Belleville General Hospital. With 1 in 2 members in our community expected to develop cancer in their lifetime, the importance of access to advanced diagnostics and high-level cancer care close to home has never been greater.

New with this lottery is a 50/50 option, when you buy a Cash4Cancer lottery ticket. The current take home jackpot is valued at $16,460. Both the grand prize draw and the 50/50 draw will take place on Thursday, December 29, 2023, at 10am EST.

BGHF Executive Director Steve Cook says: “Every ticket sold fuels our big goal of raising $500,000 in 2023 for cancer care at BGH, the regional cancer centre. With another local winner, we so appreciate the support of this community.”

As in previous BGHF lotteries, any Cash4Cancer Lotto ticket purchased is eligible for all remaining early bird draws, plus the grand prize of $100,000. The next deadline to purchase tickets for Early Bird #4 – $2,000 cash prize – is December 14th, 2023, at 11:59pm with that draw taking place the following day at 10am.
