U12A Quinte West Golden Hawks Raise $1800 for Cancer Centre

BGH Foundation accepted a cheque for $1800 from the Quinte West Golden Hawks 2013 team last weekend. The U12A Golden Hawks took part in the Hockey Fights Cancer initiative at home games in November & December, to raise funds for the Dr. Douglas MacIntosh Cancer Centre at Quinte Health Belleville General Hospital. The team wore purple jerseys during home games and fundraised with a 50/50 draw, a Wall of Hope, donations for Purple Ribbons and a Raffle table with great prizes donated by the community.
