Provide care along with the comfort

You’ve probably heard it’s the little things that make a big difference.

Our friends at McKesson believe it too. As part of their Community Days program, individual staff came together to create hundreds of McKesson Cancer Comfort Kits – each filled with small comforts to bring strength to patients battling cancer. They’re now sharing these with Cancer Patients at Quinte Health BGH.

Make a donation of $50 or more to the Dr Douglas A. MacIntosh Cancer Clinic by next Tuesday 28 November and unlock a kit for one of our brave Cancer Fighters.

Each of these heart-warming Cancer Comfort Kits contains a cozy blanket, no-slip socks, a warm hat, a water bottle, a game and a journal with a hand-written message from the staff member who built the kit.

When you make a donation of $50 or more, you will not only unlock the power of these Cancer Comfort Kits for a member of our community, you will be supporting their physical and mental wellbeing while funding lifesaving cancer treatments.

When you make your donation, make sure to add your own personal message of support for the individual who will receive a kit. Or perhaps in honour of someone you love who’s had their own cancer journey.
