Local Woman wins $1000 in Final Camp4Cancer 2024 Early Bird Draw!

Brenda Armstrong of Picton purchased her Camp4Cancer lottery ticket the first day of ticket sales in this third annual camper lottery. Today she won the third and final Early Bird Prize for the Belleville General Hospital Foundation Camp4Cancer 2024 Super Draw with ticket number 0078! The $1000 cash prize was great news for her. Happy to support local care within the region, Brenda was thrilled, “In a big year for my family with milestone birthdays, anniversaries, two new babies and a marriage celebration, this $1000 will come in handy.”

Funds raised through this vital initiative will go directly to fund equipment purchases for cancer care in Quinte Health Belleville General Hospital. With one in two Canadians diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, Belleville General Hospital acts as a regional oncology center, providing lifesaving treatment across the entire Quinte Health Catchment. Camp4Cancer tickets purchased before March 24 were eligible for the final Early Bird Draw as well as the grand prize: a Salem Cruise Lite RV, valued at over $45,000.
