Ken Brooks

Ken Brooks brings distinguished military leadership and strategic governance experience to the Board of Directors. A retired Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Canadian Air Force, Ken served Canada for nearly three decades in senior operational and command roles, both domestically and internationally. His career included leadership appointments in engineering, logistics, and technical services, as well as deployments to Haiti, Eastern Africa, and Afghanistan.

Throughout his service, Ken developed deep expertise in organizational leadership, risk management, operational planning, and team development, experience that directly supports the Foundation’s commitment to strong governance, accountability, and long-term sustainability.

Now based in the Quinte region, Ken remains actively engaged in leadership development and community service. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching sports, fishing, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
