Chris & Shirley Van Steen share their good fortune this holiday season

Chris & Shirley Van Steen of Carrying Place wanted to share their good fortune this holiday season and are giving BGHF almost $30k! The Van Steen’s had purchased some stocks at a low price and when the stocks went up significantly they chose to sell and donate the profits.

Chris Van Steen had a number of hip surgeries at QHC and says his newfound good health is due to the teams who cared for him. He and his wife Shirley thought it only fitting to make sure those same healthcare professionals have the best equipment to provide the same great care for others in our community.
