“Early Act” is a 30-member group of Grade 3 to Grade 8 students from Stirling Public School. Earlier this year they held a talent show to raise money for their community. The group decided to donate $800.65 to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation. Staff Advisor and Stirling Public School teacher Stefan Demczyna says “This group is sponsored and supported by Rotary and the criteria is making a difference in our community, our school and the world”.
Stirling Rotary Co-President Trevor Hagerman says “one of the pillars of Rotary is supporting Education. We are so pleased to support “Early Act” at Stirling Public School. It is important as it builds young leaders in our community”. Stirling Rotary matched the “Early Act” club donation and presented a cheque to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation for $1601.00
