A friend and colleague was going through cancer treatments which is when I became more involved with the Foundation. I didn’t know then just how involved I would become. My father was then diagnosed with cancer, and I realized how important receiving the best possible care can be in the community. Knowing people that are cancer patients makes my donations to the Belleville General Hospital more personal. I feel happy knowing I can contribute.
Donating is important because you’re not only helping other people but you never know when it could happen to you. Any donation made to help fight cancer is priceless.
