Centennial's Class of 2010 donates $750 to QHC.

The graduating class of 2010 from Centennial Secondary School held a Prom to celebrate their time at school and launch themselves on their way into the future. They had some money left over and decided they wanted it to be used for the good of our community.

They knew that new digital mammography equipment at QHC gives women in the Quinte region access to state of the art technology for breast screening; the best chance for early detection of cancer and a better chance to beat it.

Specially dressed for the occasion, class representatives Karyn Mimee-Ostrander, Ashley Burkholder, Rachael Quickert and Nicole Walker Joined QHC Medical Radiation Technologist, Angela Murphy to see the new digital mammography machine and present a cheque for $750.

Thanks to the Class of 2010 and the hundreds of others in our community, who gave donations ranging from $5.00 to several thousand dollars, QHC is now on the cutting edge for breast screening programs.

Every time you donate to the BGH Foundation there’s better care at QHC.
