Rehab naming group shot

On October 18th the BGH Auxiliary recieved the recognition that they deserved.  In addition to the thousands of volunteer hours, the Auxiliary was recognized for their $1 Million dollar gift that had been pledged during the Excellence for Life campaign.

Auxiliary members beamed with pride as the Rehabilitation Unit was formally dedicated to them by the Foundation.  The unit is now know as the “Belleville General Hospital Auxiliary Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit”.

In his message of thanks, Foundation Executive Director Drew Brown noted, “For 75 years the BGH Auxiliary has answered the hospital’s call and risen to every challenge, and that was never truer than during the Excellence for Life Campaign.  BHGA’s leadership gift of $1 Million played a vital role in the success of the campaign; a bold move that set a standard for others to follow.  We are very pleased that with the naming of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, the Auxiliary will receive the recognition that is so well earned and deserved.”
